This was my first landscape painting. I created it August 2013 for the One Size Fits All art show in Santa Rosa Beach. It is 10×10 on a board panel. I struggled with clouds, trees and water, painting 4 or five renditions of this image until I had something I liked. I learned a lot doing this painting. It currently resides with a friend who has become one of my collectors.

Sunrise on the Bayou. A friend told me she did like not this painting because it was not realistic. The clouds were actually that color. I have the photos to prove it. Current Location: Sold

This was from a photo I took while sailing in Mallet Bayou, Freeport, Florida. Fall was just beginning and the small red tree just stood out among the tall pines. Current Location: Freeport, FL Townhall, Featured Artist of the Month, Freeport Art League

Palms at Eden Gardens State Park, Santa Rosa Beach, Florida. If you have never been to Eden Gardens you should go. Very peaceful and beautiful. I love going there with my dog, Ozzy, and to hike and draw. Current Location: VA Hospital, Orlando
