These small sailboats are called lasers. I created this piece for the One Size Fits All show in Santa Rosa Beach.

A little scene from along the road in Freeport, Florida. This is a larger version of one I had done several months ago. It is also brighter. When doing a painting again, it is interesting to see how I choose to paint it and the colors used. Even though it is the same scene, they are different. This is another rendition of “Pines of 20”.  I was trying to create mist in the distance. Current Location: Waterside Studios

This was my first landscape painting. I created it August 2013 for the One Size Fits All art show in Santa Rosa Beach. It is 10×10 on a board panel. I struggled with clouds, trees and water, painting 4 or five renditions of this image until I had something I liked. I learned a lot doing this painting. It currently resides with a friend who has become one of my collectors.

Cloudy day on the marshes. Current Location; Waterside Studios

Sunrise on the Bayou. A friend told me she did like not this painting because it was not realistic. The clouds were actually that color. I have the photos to prove it. Current Location: Sold

This was from a photo I took while sailing in Mallet Bayou, Freeport, Florida. Fall was just beginning and the small red tree just stood out among the tall pines. Current Location: Freeport, FL Townhall, Featured Artist of the Month, Freeport Art League
