Hello friends, Friday, Sept 26 is the opening reception for the “Healing with Art” show at the Sacred Heart Hospital in Santa Rosa Beach. I would love to see you there. I have two paintings in the show – “The Red Tree” and “Gone Fishin”. Both are paintings of locations in Freeport, FL. I am very excited about having been chosen to participate in this show. It was juried, meaning you have to be selected from all the entries to participate. This is my first juried show, so yes, I am doing a bit of bragging.

Palms at Eden Garden State Park, Santa Rosa Beach, Florida
This heron was done almost completely with a pallet knife. Great piece to experiment with the pallet knife and spreading color.
This was a quick painting. I had some paint left over from another project so I quickly did this nude.
